The Brazil Network Day (BND) is a trade and investments promotion initiative organized (since 2011) by the Embassy of Brazil in The Hague in cooperation with Dutch stakeholders. It consists of a afternoon program with plenary meetings led by a moderator and carry out by keynote speakers where business related issues are dealt via thematic panels and followed by a business networking gathering.

BND gathers an average of 200 participants per event, mainly executives from Dutch companies doing (or  considering) to do business or invest in Brazil, managing directors of Brazilian transnational companies based in the Netherlands, governmental authorities, opinion makers and representatives of trade and investments related organizations from Brazil and the Netherlands.

Organized in the last 10 years, BND has gained recognition as the Brazilian flagship business event in the Netherlands. Fostering exchange of information on strategic sectors, BND contributes to the improvement of knowledge between our business communities, their activities and mutual beneficial opportunities.

The 17th BND edition took place on Tuesday 2nd November in the opening day of the Maritime Technology Trade Fair (Europort 2021) at Ahoy Rotterdam Exhibitions & Conventions Center. BND was organized in partnership with Europort, City of Rotterdam and Port of Rotterdam, and also counted with the support of Baker McKenzie Amsterdam and WEG Benelux. BND Rotterdam dealt with topics related to port developments and the role of maritime technology on innovation and sustainability business approaches.

If Covid-19 situation/measures allows, BND's 18th edition should take place in the second half of 2022.
