This 7th Brazil Network Day will exclusively host the exhibition of Brazilian artists Bruno Pedrosa and Júlia dos Santos Baptista.
Born in 1950 at Fazenda Catingueira in the countryside of the state of Ceará, Bruno Pedrosa earned a degree in art history, philosophy and archeology from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. Pedrosa lives and works in the charming town of Bassano del Grappa, Italy, since the 1990s. His work is exhibited in Europe, in the USA and in Latin America, including Brazil, and can be found in museums, public and in private collections. Julia dos Santos Baptista was born and raised in Brasilia, Brazil. She currently lives and works in The Netherlands and Brazil. Her work has been exhibited and is solid in various countries around the globe. Julia's work reflects universal themes of socio and political nature. These themes include amongst others the rapid growth of large cities, the dialogue between art and architecture and child motherhood etc., and through them Julia seeks interaction with the public encouraging them to reflect on such themes.
