The Brazil Network Day (BND) is a trade and investments promotion initiative organized, since 2011, by the Embassy of Brazil in The Hague, in cooperation with Dutch provinces and/or municipalities and with the participation of governmental and private sector delegations from Brazil. It consists of plenary meetings in which business related issues are discussed, followed by business network gatherings.
The BND editions bring an average of 300 participants, mainly executives from Dutch companies that do business or invest in Brazil, CEOs of Brazilian transnational companies established in the Netherlands, governmental authorities, opinion makers and others trade and investments umbrela organizations from Brazil and the Netherlands.
On 19 November 2019, the 16th BND edition was organized in partnership with the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO), the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil), and the Minas Gerais State Trade and Investment Agency (INDI). BND The Hague also counted with the support of Baker McKenzie and Corendon. The plenaries focused on business and investments opportunities in the sectors of Biotechnologies and Life Sciences/Health Care with the participation of a business delegation from the State of Minas Gerais.
The BND has gained recognition as the most important Brazilian trade and investment event organized in the Netherlands. It provides an opportunity for Brazilian and Dutch entrepreneurs to promote business and investments in both countries, as well as to improve reciprocal knowledge between our business communities and activities.
